How to get around

The train transportation system in Philadelphia is known as SEPTA (South Eastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority). Amtrak is another train system here in Philadelphia. Both trains will take you throughout the region. There are trains, buses, trolleys, and a subway system all through Philadelphia that you can use to get from point A to point B. Besides SEPTA there are other modes of transportation: biking (Indego), walking, UBER, and LYFT. Please see below for options.

SEPTA

Through SEPTA, there are trains available to suburban Philadelphia areas, as well as the Philadelphia International Airport.  Full schedules are available online

There are 3 main train stations in Center City Philadelphia:

  1. 30th Street Station (30th Street and Market Street)
  2. Suburban Station (16th Street and JFK Boulevard)
  3. Jefferson Station (10th Street and Market Street)
    1.  Jefferson Station is the closest to the Rothman Institute center city offices

Amtrak

Airplane
